On the eve of the Great Christian Easter, I want to make crafts that adorn the house and cause admiration of both the household and the guests. Those who know how to sew more or less, we propose to make the Easter hare with our own hands. We present two options how to make an Easter hare from cloth.
1 version of "Zephyr Hare"
These cute bunnies are made of fabric, but they resemble a delicate marshmallow with their pastel coloring!
You will need:
- small piece of fleece, felt or woolen knitwear;
- thread of the corresponding color;
- holofayber or sintepon;
- brown threads of a mulina (for a spout and an eye);
- sewing machine;
- sewing accessories.
How to sew an Easter hare?
- The pattern of the Easter bunny is not difficult to do by yourself, since the image of the animal is very simplistic. You can enlarge the above picture:
- The fabric is folded in half with the front side inward, we trace the hare pattern, we cut out the two halves of the product. From the fabric, we also cut off a long strip 4 cm wide. We sew small eyes and a spout on the mule. We measure the length of the strip along the perimeter of the hare image, cut off. Folding the long side in half, we put both ends on the sewing machine together. We should get a closed ring - this will be the middle part of the product, thanks to which our animal will be voluminous.
- Gently fasten the pins to the resulting detail along the perimeter to the front of the bunny. We make the machine seam. We proceed to the most difficult stage of work - sewing the back of the product. In order for the part to fit well, we use a lot of pins for fastening. Should get a sort of sandwich in the form of a hare. We spend it on the sewing machine, leaving the area unattached. Through the remaining hole fill the filler, distributing it evenly throughout the product. After the toy is full, we suture it.

Sewing with your own hands a few Easter bunnies of different colors, you can make a fun composition of them, placing them in a wicker basket.
2 variant "Hare Garland"
An even simpler way is to sew many flat images of hares and combine them in a bright garland to decorate the room.
You will need:
- a piece of fleece, felt or woolen jersey;
- thread of the corresponding color;
- beautiful braid;
- pencil;
- brown paint for fabric;
- sewing machine;
- sewing accessories.
Completing of the work
- We translate the template onto the fabric. We try to place the images as close as possible to save matter. Dip the uncoated side of the pencil into the brown paint. Put prints - eyes and a nose on each face.
- We take the braid. Sew for the ears on the machine back part of one rabbit, then alternately all the rest.
- In turn we sew the front part of each hare.
