Children's slippers

Sewing baby slippers is not difficult. The offered master class will help you make your own children's home slippers of any size, starting from the smallest. For the upper part of the home shoe, small rags of dense fabric will fit, and for the interior it is better to choose a soft fleece, flannel, woolen knitwear or an old terry towel, then the baby will be warm in the cool winter days. For the sole, any dense fabric is required, preferably a non-slip fabric: plashevka, felt, perforated artificial leather, etc.

Slippers for a child with their own hands

You will need:

  1. To build a pattern of children's slippers you need a pair of shoes that fit the child in size. We put the shoes on a sheet of paper, we circle each of them along the contour and cut them out.
  2. The resulting patterns are transferred to the fabric for the inside of the sneakers, a heater, a glue and a cloth intended for the sole, adding 0.5 cm along the contour. Cut out the right and left blanks.
  3. Now make a pattern of the top of the slippers. To do this, place the pattern of the sole on white paper and, adding about 1.5 cm, we make an arc-shaped line less than half the sole (note: the extension of the pattern is expanding at the bottom of the pattern).
  4. For the top of the slippers, make 2 pieces for each product. In the end, we should get the following set of parts: internal parts (2), sole soles (2), soles (2), upper part of sneakers (4). To impart hardness to the product, a glue (2 parts) is used.
  5. We connect the part from the glue with the sole insulation, ironing with a hot iron.
  6. We begin to sew children's slippers. We consistently connect the inner part of the sneakers, the heater and the sole, level the edges, fasten the pins, make a line on the sewing machine, stepping back from the edge of 0.4 cm.
  7. We attach the top of the sneakers, pinching pins. In this case, we should form a space for the foot.
  8. We measure the sole along the perimeter. This will be the length of the satin ribbon we need. We measure and cut the tape for each product from the pair. We measure the elastic tape. The length of each piece of rubber should be 5 cm less than the length of the satin ribbon.
  9. We stretch together the satin and elastic bands, pulling the last well.
  10. Attach the tapes in two places, as shown in the picture.
  11. We wrap and iron the oblique bake.
  12. We process oblique bake the top part of slippers, stitching on a typewriter.
