How to make an owl from a plastic bottle: a master class

In order to make the craft of an owl from a plastic bottle, it is necessary to prepare the following materials:

• Styrofoam;
• epoxy adhesive;
• packing from magnets;
• beads - 2 pieces;
• plastic bottles of brown color (from beer, kvass);
• self-tapping screws;
• acrylic paints;
• brushes;
• scissors.

Stages of work:

1. We take a piece of styrofoam and cut out the head of the future owl from it.
2. Eyes are made from epoxy glue, pouring it in a package of magnets. Inside the resulting mixture, we insert beads-eyes.
3. From the plastic bottle, cut out a small piece for the beak, glue it.
4. We begin to make the face of an owl. From the bottle, cut out small plates oblong with rounded edges, so they look like feathers. We start to glue them around the eyes.
5. Strips of plastic cover the edges of the feathers.
6. We cut feathers for wings from the middle of a plastic bottle.
7. We take a five-liter bottle and screw to it the resulting feathers in such a way that they look like folded wings.
8. Ready-made owl wings should look like this.
9. The last row of feathers must be bent over the edge.
10. Next, each subsequent pen should close the junction of the previous one.
11. We take another five-liter bottle and start from it to do the trunk of an owl. Using a hot knife, cut the neck. From the back, cut off a small part and bend it up - it will be at the owl's head.
12. The bottoms of two-liter bottles are cut into small pieces - these will be feathers. We fasten them around a large plastic bottle.
13. The head is closed with feathers. Using screws, we screw the head of the owl to the bottle.
14. We begin to join in a circle feathers in the area of ​​the joint of the trunk and head.
15. Then paint with an acrylic paint owl on your own.

You can make an owl easier using just one two-liter plastic bottle. It is best to use a bottle of carbonated drinks, which has a "waist" in the bottom of the bottle. The procedure for creating an owl is as follows:

1. Scissors cut off the bottom of the bottle, which with a bend. This bottom with "waves" is in fact already a ready head of an owl with ears.
2. Cut off the cover of the second part, which is at the top. The middle of the bottle and the uppermost part with the lid can be thrown out immediately.
3. We connect both blanks together.
