On the eve of the New Year we begin to think about how to surprise and please our relatives and friends with unusual and memorable gifts so that it is original and, of course, affordable. The coming 2016 is the year of the fiery monkey, which is its most important symbol.
In this master class I will show you how you can make an original New Year gift - a magnet to a monkey that will charm your future owner and bring him luck for the coming year.
Monkey-Magnet on the refrigerator - master-class
List of required materials:
- 1 meter thick red, white, brown and flesh-colored;
- white sheet of paper;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- threads of red, black, brown and white mulina;
- needle;
- 2 beads of black color;
- sintepon;
- magnet;
- silicone adhesive.
Progress:
- On a sheet of paper we draw a pattern of the future monkey, namely: head, muzzle, ears, nose, tongue.
- We transfer the pattern to the felt and cut out the details of the future monkey as follows: the head (of brown felt) - 2 pieces, the muzzle (of flesh-colored felt) - 1 piece, the ears (of flesh-colored felt) - 1 piece, spout brown) - 1 piece, a tongue (from a felt of red color) - 1 piece.
- Thread the mulina of brown color with a suture seam in one thread, sew the detail of the face to the head detail of the future monkey.
- In the same way sew the ears to the head of the monkey.
- With the help of silicone glue, we glue the nose to the muzzle of the monkey and with the suture seam with threads of a brown mulina in one thread we sew it around the edges.
- From the white felt we cut out two small ovals.
- By the suture seam threads of a white mulina in one thread sew white ovals to the muzzle of a monkey, and to them, in turn, beads. Eyes turned out.
- Thread a black mulberry in two strands with a back of the needle and sew a smile of the monkey. To the smile we glue the tongue from the felt of red color. It should look like this.
- Then we sew two parts of the head of the monkey together with a filament suture with threads of a brown mulina in two strands. Wearing up to the middle, the head of the monkey must be filled with a sintepon, then it must be sewn up to the end.
- To the occipital part of the head we glue the magnet.
- That's such a mischievous monkey we got.
