Cookies "Kisses"

Today we will tell you how to make a deliciously delicious cookie with the interesting name "Kisses". Most often it is baked from curd pastry, but you can also use puff pastry, and add any sweet stuff to your taste.

To soften at room temperature margarine spread cottage cheese and cut with a knife on small pieces. Then, gradually pouring the sifted flour, knead the dough. At the end of the batch, add soda, extinguished with vinegar and, if desired, vanillin. Now from the dough form small balls, roughly the size of a walnut, press them down to make a flat cake, dip one side in sugar and turn sugar inside. The resulting semicircle is again dipped one side into the sugar, and fold in half, like the first time, sugar inside. Then dipped once again one side in the sugar crystals and place on the oiled baking sheet, which remained clean (without sugar). Bake our curd cookies in a preheated oven for up to 210 degrees for twenty minutes, or until browned.

Cookies "Kiss" from puff pastry with nut stuffing

Ingredients:

Preparation

We divide the eggs into squirrels and yolks. We will need yolks later, to lubricate the finished liver before baking, and whisk egg whites until a dense foam is formed. Do not stop whipping, gradually pour the sugar, then add crushed nuts, vanillin and gently mix. The filling for the cookie is ready.

Puff pastry is rolled up to two millimeters thick and cut out in any convenient way circles with a diameter of about ten centimeters.

For each circle, spread a teaspoon of filling and fasten the pads of the fingers, like pelmeni, but not very dense, as when baking "Kiss" should open slightly.

We put the cookies on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, top with the yolks mixed with a pinch of vanilla, and put it in a heated oven to 200 degrees before browning and forming a beautiful golden color.
