In addition to beds with tomatoes, you want to decorate your site with a sculpture in the form of a snail or other sweet creature. You can buy such beauty in the store, but it's quite expensive. We suggest you make a figure of a snail with your own hand from a simple mounting foam.
How to make a snail with your own hands?
To make a snail from a mounting foam is not so difficult, as it might seem at first glance. You will need only a little imagination and patience. Before we make a snail with our own hands, we will prepare the following tools:
- balloon with mounting foam;
- two containers for the body of a snail (a plastic bottle and a bucket, which will later become a pot);
- cutting knife.
Now consider a simple step-by-step instruction for manufacturing a snail from a mounting foam.
- First, just apply a layer of foam, which is supposed to have the shape of the body of the cochlea. Next, we put the second layer and install the bottle. It will become the neck of sculpture.
- After drying, apply a layer of foam on the bottle and let the foam dry.
- Now we begin to cut the lower part of the body. Before your eyes it is better to put a photo, so it was easier to imagine the picture.
- When everything is ready, install the bucket and weave it.
- After drying, we put a second layer, rather dense, so that you can cut a shell out of it.
- We apply a spiral to the house and gradually start cutting.
- Sculpture of a snail is ready. Now it will only have to be painted and put in a flower pot with flowers.
- If desired, the cochlea can be painted with bright colors.
