The action of the drug resembles the effect of atropine, but the effect comes faster and is less prolonged. The maximum dilatation of the pupil occurs approximately 20 minutes after instillation of the remedy and passes after 6 hours.

When conducting ophthalmological examinations, midriazil is usually instilled in 1 drop, slightly pulling down the lower eyelid, after which the eyes should be closed and slightly pressed down with fingers in the area of ​​lacrimal sacs. After 5 minutes, the drug is digested repeatedly and after 20 minutes it can be examined. When used for medicinal purposes (for the treatment of inflammatory processes of the eyes and for postoperative rehabilitation), the drug can be digested up to 6 times a day.

Midi-acyl eye drops are an exceptionally curative drug, which can only be used as prescribed by a doctor.
