Particularly popular is Fervex - the composition of this product allows you to quickly stop the development of the disease, improve your health. In addition, there are several varieties of this medication.
FERVEX formulation for adults
The medicine in question is produced with a lemon and raspberry flavor, is a powder, packaged in bags of 13.1 g.
The main active ingredients are:
- ascorbic acid (200 mg);
- paracetamol (500 mg);
- maleate of phenylamine (25 mg).
The combination of these components provides a reduction in body temperature, relief of the inflammatory process and pain syndrome, elimination of nasal congestion, lacrimation, eye hyperemia and itching in the maxillary sinuses. Due to the high dose of ascorbic acid, carbohydrate metabolism, permeability of the capillary walls, the regeneration of tissues, oxidation-reduction processes are normalized.
As auxiliary substances in the Fervex powder composition there are:
- sucrose;
- arabic gum;
- anhydrous citric acid;
- sodium saccharinate or soluble saccharin;
- flavor (lemon-rum or crimson).
If the drug with a lemon flavor, the color of the powder is light beige, sometimes with brown impregnations. The raspberry preparation has a pinkish hue with rare bright red grains.
Fervex without sugar
For diabetics and people with glucose intolerance, the described drug without sugar, which has a lemon flavor, was developed. In this case, the active ingredients and their concentration are exactly the same as in the classical version of the preparation. Only the composition of the auxiliary substances is changed:
- anhydrous citric acid;
- tromagnesium dicitrate (anhydrous);
- flavoring lemon-rum;
- mannitol;
- povidone;
- aspartame.
It should be noted that some components of Fervex have a high hepatotoxicity (negatively affect the tissue and parenchyma of the liver). Therefore, the drug is not recommended for use longer than 3-5 days. In addition, it is important to strictly follow the dosage specified in the instructions. When allergic reactions occur, signs of intoxication or side effects, Fervex should be stopped immediately.
