Gas fireplace

The fireplace is always associated with comfort and warmth, peace and tranquility. For those who want to admire the flickering flames of burning firewood at home, now there is a huge selection of fireplaces. But you do not always want to spend time cleaning them, buying firewood, continuously monitoring the fire so that it does not go out. A wonderful way out for today is a gas fireplace.

Gas fireplace in the apartment is especially practical, because it does not leave soot, thanks to electronic sensors it controls the level of carbon monoxide content, it is easily turned on and off (it is equipped with a piezoelectric element like a conventional gas stove). Such fireplaces are absolutely safe, exclude the possibility of gas leakage and sparks entering the room.

The gas fireplace looks just like a wood-burning fireplace, but it's completely different. Fuel for such fireplaces is either liquefied propane-butane (in cylinders), or natural gas (from the central gas main). Firewood - heat-resistant ceramic logs, imitating natural wood. Gas fireplaces have a number of differences from electric and wood burning options: this is more affordable price, less stringent requirements for installation, lighter weight, rather effective heat dissipation. The fire in this fireplace is supported by a gas burner equipped with automated control.

How to choose a gas fireplace?

All types of gas fireplaces perform two functions - heating the room and decorating the interior. Choosing a fireplace depends on what role it will play - the role of the heater or the role of the decorative element.

For country houses, a gas convector-fireplace or a gas stove-fireplace is best suited. These types of heating devices have a high heat output, and accordingly they heat the room faster and more strongly, unlike usual gas fireplaces. At the same time, they perfectly complement the overall design of the room.

For an ordinary apartment that does not need additional heating, simple gas fireplaces will do. Their main advantage is that they can be inscribed in absolutely any interior. They can be hidden in a niche, thereby imitating a real fireplace, and you can hang in the form of a picture on the wall. Also, such a fireplace can be placed in the center of the room and give a form of intricate decorative design, and can even be used as a room partition.

By the way, many modern fireplaces have built-in electronics, with which you can not only control the intensity of fire, temperature and other important indicators, but which can turn the fireplace on or off, or independently turn it into a safe mode (with the appropriate setting).
