- a cut for the design of the hem of the apron;
- tape or braid for straps around the neck and around the waist;
- rectangle of contrasting fabric for the pocket (when stitching we will fold it twice for strength, so measure the double height).
We print out two parts of the pattern. Cut out patterns and put them together. You can choose the depth of the armhole by placing the bottom of the pattern. Apply alternately patterns to the main and lining parts of the fabric. In this case, each piece is folded in half along the center line. Necessarily after the armhole is cut out, it is necessary to fold both parts one by one and make sure that everything has coincided. Next, you need to decorate the hem. To do this, we spend the foundation and the cut for the bottom. You can proceed in another way: make a rectangle for the lining 10 cm longer and sew first the lower parts of the blanks, then match the cutouts and iron. The seams are ironed. To give the finished look, we put a decorative stitch over the ironed seam. We sew the decor for a gift with our own hands for the grandmother. Fold the workpiece for the pocket half-and-half inside out and bend all the rough edges. Ironing. Then, using a decorative stitch, attach it to the base. As for the neck straps, the most convenient option is a rigid fixation from one and the button on the other side. For this, when we spend two parts of the product, we fix one end with a stitch along the perimeter. And after ironing we sew the button and at the end of the braid we make the loop on the typewriter. Now that we have decided on the location and type of fixing of the ties, we can stitch both parts of the gift with our own hands for the grandmother. If you chose the first option, then simply attach the parts one by one and stitch them. For the second variant we proceed similarly, only the side lines and the top will be left.
