Making a beautiful flower from corrugated paper is a pleasure! First, you will need to prepare for each bud of the orchid several blanks: purple segments of 3x4 cm and 3x7 cm, a yellow segment measuring 7х14 cm, a white segment measuring 7х1.5 cm and a pale pink segment of 3х8 cm.
So, the attempts to make orchids from paper with their own hands:
- Prepared pieces of corrugated paper should be prepared: pink paper should be cut into petals with sharp edges, purple paper - in the form of petals with rounded edges.
- With the help of scissors the prepared workpieces should be given a twisted appearance.
- Let's start with the formation of the core of the orchid. To do this, the piece of corrugated paper must be folded in half through the skewer.
- Then, both edges of the paper should be pulled to the center.
- The resulting blank is twisted into a circle and we get the necessary central part of the flower.
- From a thin strip of white, we make a neat mustache, twisting it on a pencil or pen.
- Then attach it to the core of the future orchid.
- Opposite the antennae to the core of the flower, we attach a long petal of corrugated paper of violet color. We wrap the billet with two smaller purple petals.
- The next layer of petals consists of a series of four petals of pale pink color. Pull their tips out a bit.
- We fix all the elements of our orchid on the other side with wire.
- Similarly, we make another 3-5 flowers.
- Now let's make leaves for an orchid. From the strip of corrugated paper green cut out a strip of 10-15 cm in length. We form rounded edges.
- Along the sheet in the middle we apply a strip of glue and attach the rope from above.
- We make such 4-6 sheets.
- We wrap the wire with a strip of green corrugated paper, attach flowers and leaves.
