There are two simple forms of kaffa, on the basis of which more complex ones are then made.

A simple cuff that is attached to the ear with a clip

1. Take the wire length of 6.5 cm.
2. We bend the right side of the wire 2 cm up and to the left.
3. Also bend the left side down and to the right.
4. With the help of round-nosed pliers we make two eyelets at the ends.
5. Using a round object, bend the side pieces inwards.

Such simple cuffs can be made with their own hands even from clips.

If you change the bending pattern, thread beads on the wire or fasten chains, pendants, feathers on the lower loop, you can get very beautiful cuffs.

Kaffa, which is attached behind the ear with the help of a bow

1. We cut off 40 cm of wire (1-1.5 mm). We measure out 7 cm and bend in the opposite direction.
2. Bend the double wire in the shape of the back of the ear and get the base of the cuff.
3. The rest of the wire is wrapped around the base, making small loops, they can be made with the help of round nose pliers or toothpicks.
4. Crop unnecessary wire. Kaffa is ready.
5. To get a variety of cuffs, made by yourself, we make different suspensions from chains, feathers, beads and attach them to the eyelets.

Kaffa "treble clef" made of wire by own hands

You will need:

• 36 cm of wire 1-1.2 mm thick (it is better for beginners to take a wire with a thickness of 0.6 mm);
• marker, ruler.

1. Bend the wire in half and grasp the center of the tip of the round pliers.
2. Bend around the second end of the round-bends one of the sides of the wire, and then bend both ends around the resulting figure.
3. Marker is labeled at a distance of 3 cm from the future middle of the treble clef and, leaving space for the upper loop, bend the wire down.
4. We bend the ends of the wire so that they cross the base 8-9 mm from the top, and make a large semicircle to the left, winding the wire under the base of the key (the product).
5. Make a symmetrical bend on the right and lead the wire to the upper loop. While holding the ends of the wire together, we make a noose and, stretching the wire to the bottom, is led to the left.
6. We bend the loop in the opposite direction, it should skirt the base from the front side and go to the right from the wrong side.
7. To fix the cuff, we take the wire to the left by an even line at 1.4 cm from the center. Then we remove the wire in the opposite direction and make a mark, so that the fastening length is 3.5 cm.
8. Cutting off the wire, round-nosed rounded ends in different directions.
9. We bend the cuff attachment into the semicircle and bend it so that it fits comfortably on the ear, and the treble clef looks even.

Cuff with feathers

We use: silver wire and feathers.

1. Cut off from the wire about 10 cm and form the basis of the cuff. Cut off 2 pieces of 5-7 cm of wire per pen.
2. With the help of pliers or hands, we gently reel the first wire to the middle of the wire.
3. In the middle, insert the toothpick and bend it to form a small ring, then continue to tightly wind the wire.
4. In the same way, attach all the wires to the base.
5. We take a separate wire and wind it half on the tip of the pen.
6. Then, push the end of the wire into the ring on the base, bend the wire and twist the remainder around the pen over the first layer. We repeat the procedure with all the feathers.
7. Fold the base to fit tightly behind the ear. Kaffa with feathers ready.
