Thanks to the many years of painstaking work of our breeders, unique varieties and hybrids of grapes have been created, which have remarkable taste and growth qualities. One of the artificially derived varieties of this remarkable in all respects plants - the grapes "Anniversary of Novocherkassk".

Authorship in the creation of this complex interspecific hybrid belongs to the well-known breeder VNKranov. It was obtained by crossing other varieties of grapes - varieties "Talisman" and "Kishmish Radiant" . Grapes "Anniversary of Novocherkassk" was liked by many wine growers. And it's not accidental, in fact, along with a beautiful appearance and excellent taste characteristics, it is still quite easy to care for and is remarkably preserved during transportation. But first things first:
- Grapes "The anniversary of Novocherkassk belongs to the early ripening grades: only 115 days must be waited before harvesting. Usually this grape completely ripens already by the beginning-middle of August.
- Pollination of the inflorescences of grapes of this variety occurs in the first days of June, and they are pollinated quite well, and inflorescences themselves consist of bisexual flowers.
- The grape variety "Jubilee of Novocherkassk" usually forms large clusters, the mass of which is from 800 grams to one and a half kilograms, and grapes-recorders can reach three kilograms.
- Berries in this variety are large, 40x35 mm in size and weighing about 15-20 grams, oval-elongated shape. The color of the berries varies with their maturation, and ranges from white-pink to dark pink.
- The flesh of the grape is "Jubilee of Novocherkassk" of medium density, juicy. The taste of the pulp is harmonious, moderately sweet, and the peel is practically not felt when eating.
- Grapes "Anniversary of Novocherkassk" consistently brings an excellent harvest, and its berries are not prone to bearded.
- Shrubs are characterized by great growth force and excellent aging of shoots. And the excellent growth parameters this grapes shows both in the home-grown and in the grafted culture. When the grapes "Yubilee Novocherkassk" reproduce with cuttings, they give a high percentage of rooting. The compatibility of this variety with rootstocks is at a very high level.
- Cut fruit vines of the grape "Anniversary of Novocherkassk" is necessary for 8-10 kidneys. And the number of eyes on the bush should not exceed 45 per bush, and the number of shoots - 25 per bush, provided that the area of food is about 5 square meters.
- As experience of wine growers-amators shows, the grape variety "Jubilee of Novocherkassk" yields a crop and on stepsons. But the quality
such a crop will be much lower: the weight of the bunches is low (up to 250 grams), and the bunches themselves will mature later. In addition, the planned grapes left on the stepsons will also affect the quality of the vine, which will grow much worse. The quality of the main crop of the next year will also suffer. Therefore, the grapes formed on the stepchildren must be removed. - With a competent shelter for the winter, the vine of the brand "Jubilee of Novocherkassk" is capable of withstanding frosts to -25 ° С without losses.
- It is necessary to treat grapevines "Jubilee of Novocherkassk" in the same way as other varieties of grapes against diseases and pests. Carry out the protective treatment three times: twice before flowering, and the third time when the berries reach the size of a large pea. In general, the resistance of this grape variety is at a very high level.
