When 23 years ago in a small town in Canada a girl with a large birthmark under her right eye was born, her parents knew that the issue of removing a cosmetic defect was just a matter of time.

"My huge birthmark is a huge part of me! It helps people to remember and recognize me, "says Cassandra Nod." Well, who else can recall the incident that happened to me recently?
