May 9 in the kindergarten

Victory Day is one of the most moving holidays for us, as the tragedy of the Great Patriotic War affected virtually every family. Therefore it is very important that children already from the earliest age learn to respect veterans and remember those who gave their lives for the sake of a peaceful sky over the heads of descendants. As a rule, on May 9 in the kindergarten celebrate solemnly and necessarily prepare the kids for the performance on this day.

What can be arranged for the Victory Day in kindergarten?

Usually, teachers approach the organization of the holiday very responsibly and try to do everything to make this day memorable for children, as well as for their parents, grandparents. In kindergarten, you can hold such activities by May 9:

  1. Children of the senior preschool age will be interested to hear a conversation about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, their biographies and exploits. But it should be remembered that it is not necessary to delay the conversation too much: the kids can get tired and the lesson of patriotic education will not have the proper effect on them. Therefore, to arrange an event longer than 40-50 minutes is not recommended. At this educational hour, you can also tell about the history of streets named after partisans, soldiers and officers who distinguished themselves during the war, as well as monuments dedicated to this difficult period of our history.
  2. Also, the holiday on May 9 in the kindergarten is held outside the pre-school institutions. Kids will definitely enjoy the fascinating tour of the museum, where weapons, military uniforms and other items preserved from that time are stored. A good idea will be a trip to the memorial or to the monument "Eternal Flame", as well as to the places of military glory of your city or village.
  3. Together with parents and teachers, each child can take part in a planned subbotnik, which is often held in the kindergarten before the matinee on May 9. Many crumbs are very fond of helping during planting flowers in the flowerbed, and the seeds are scattered in such a way that they form the inscription "Happy Victory Day" or "May 9!".
  4. Among the good ideas by May 9, which are quite feasible in the kindergarten, we will distinguish the learning of poems on a military theme, for example, S. Mikhalkov, as well as the reading by educators of prose works that describe the hard times of occupation (Z. Aleksandrova "Dozor", O. Vysotsky "Salute", A. Agebaev "Victory Day", etc.).
  5. For a long time the kids will remember the occupation in which the teacher will suggest them to dazzle them out of plasticine or draw a tank, a helicopter, a cannon, a soldier or a festive parade. Quite affordable crumbs and such artistic techniques as origami, applique, and painting with croup. To create a soulful atmosphere, often include the relevant musical works: G. Sviridov "The Military March", PI Tchaikovsky "March of Wooden Soldiers", "Three Tankmen", "We Need One Victory", "Katyusha", etc.

Sports competitions for Victory Day

In the kindergarten on May 9, you can conduct such fascinating contests:

  1. "The march-throw." Such a complex relay race consists of several stages: children must climb through the hoop, creep under the bench, jump over a small obstacle. Anyone who does this faster and more deftly, is declared the winner.
  2. "Hit the target." At a distance of 1-1.5 m from the contestants, a "target" is set up - an empty box where the toddlers take turns throwing "shells" - small balls.
  3. "Crossing". The goal of this game is to cross the imaginary river. Contestants make their way from start to finish, jumping over the gymnastic benches set up in a row.
