The newspaper published an article in which it is told that in her youth, Ms. Trump was engaged in escort services.

In the materials that appeared in the newspaper The Daily Mail, talked about the model agency of the city of Milan, which worked Melania. In addition to the selection of projects for models, this company was also engaged in providing girls with wealthy men and many knew it under the name "The Club of Gentlemen." In its material, the newspaper refers to a blogger from the US Vester Tarpley, as well as a book about this agency, published on Amazon.
After the material appeared on the Internet, before the press came forward to introduce Melania Trump, saying these words:
"All this stuff is a complete deception and an outrageous lie. Such statements harm the reputation of Mrs. Trump. She worked under contract in a registered modeling agency. Melania never provided any kind of escort services and never engaged in prostitution. "
However, only on one statement the Trump family decided not to stop and on August 22 filed an application with the court for the publication of The Daily Mail and blogger Vester Tarpli with a sum of moral compensation of $ 1.5 million.

The Daily Mail wrote a refutation
Apparently, the British newspaper did not think that their article would cause such a scandal and the opportunity to bring considerable material damage. Yesterday it became known that the site of the newspaper, where an article about Melania was posted, deleted it and wrote a refutation. It said that all information about Mrs. Trump was taken from open sources. In addition, it was stated that the materials published on the site were not checked by the publication and therefore their reliability is not known.
