Composition of the preparation Mikrolaks
This laxative drug has an artificial basis. It includes:
- sorbitol;
- sodium citrate;
- sodium lauryl sulfoacetate.
These components help to relax the muscular structure of the rectum, relaxing the sphincter and facilitating the rapid liberation of stool.

How can I inject Mikrolaks and can I use it in pregnancy?
The volume of the tube is 5 ml. Before removing the sealed tip, the tip of the enema is inserted into the straight passage, the solution is squeezed inward. Before administration, several drops of the drug should be applied to the entrance to the anus in order to facilitate the process of administration. The effect of the application comes in almost 5-10 minutes.
With regard to use during the gestation period, it can be used almost at any time, but it is not recommended to perform enemas at the beginning and at the end, due to the high risk of increasing the uterine tone.
How often can I use Mrollux in pregnancy?
The drug is used, if necessary, once. If you develop constipation repeatedly, you can use it again. However, doctors do not recommend doing this often, no more than 2-3 consecutive days.
Contraindications and side effects of Mikrolux during pregnancy
The drug is not used when:
- intolerance;
- the presence of cracks in the rectum;
- hemorrhoids.
Among the side effects are:
- disruption of the gastrointestinal tract;
- pain in the abdomen: lower and upper divisions;
- discomfort in the rectum;
