And now tell this to the gymnast, and she will just scratch your eyes. Rhythmic gymnastics is pain and tears, and when the pain subsides, and all tears are shed, then graceful and highly choreographed performances are born. And in order to escape from the pain, forget about the surrounding world, immerse yourself in yourself and rise above everyone, for rhythmic gymnastics and for every athlete is very important is beautiful music.

Precisely because gymnastics is "artistic" and music is needed.

Rules for selecting music

During training, depending on the style of the session, the coach chooses fast or classical music for rhythmic gymnastics. But when preparing for competitions, music is chosen for each gymnast separately. First, choose a composition, then paint all the elements that you need to perform, and then they are imposed on the music. Each composition should last no more than a minute and a half and be exceptionally instrumental, without words.

The musical accompaniment reveals the soul of both the gymnast and the elements. First of all, the soul of this composition needs to be understood, and then to give the audience a whole story.
