Changing nipples during pregnancy

The darkening of the nipples, which women also often see in the waiting period of the baby, is explained by the excessive production of melanin. Under the influence of this pigment of the areola, the nipples become darker, and a strip characteristic for pregnant women often appears on the abdomen.
