There is a huge amount of budget dishes based on onions, but fritters are, perhaps, the most amazing of them. The minimum of ingredients can be transformed into tender pancakes, slightly sweet, ruddy and very nourishing.
Onion pancakes - recipe
Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 180 g;
- corn flour - 5 g;
- egg - 1 piece;
- milk - 190 ml;
- onion - 200 g;
- Dried parsley, sage - 2 tsp each;
- baking powder - 5 g.
Preparation
First we need to grind the onions, but do not worry, we will not have to cry many tears in the process, since for this purpose we will use a mixer or a meat grinder. We turn the peeled onions into gruel, mix with both kinds of flour and baking powder. Separately we beat eggs with milk and dried herbs. Pour in liquid and knead thick dough.
Onion pancakes are roasted on a warmed up oil until a ruddy crust.
Onion pancakes made from green onions
Ingredients:
- feathers of green onions - 200 g;
- egg - 1 piece;
- flour - 50 g;
- soda - 1/3 of a spoon;
- sour cream - 40 g.
Preparation
Finely chopping the feathers of green onions, sprinkle them with a generous pinch of salt and mash. Mix the resulting gruel with flour and soda. Separately, whisk the egg with sour cream and pour in liquid to onion. Fry the portions of the resulting dough with warmed vegetable oil.
Onion pancakes with a manga
Ingredients:
- semolina - 30 g;
- onion - 380 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs.
Preparation
Turning peeled onions into gruel with a mixer or meat grinder, mix the gruel with beaten eggs and semolina. The resulting mixture is left for about half an hour. During this time semolina will absorb all the excess moisture, swell and will not crunch in the prepared dish. At the end of the allotted time, grill pancakes as usual, in a heated frying pan in an abundance of vegetable oil.
Onion pancakes with yogurt
Ingredients:
- onion - 280 g;
- flour - 80 g;
- sugar - 5 g;
- egg - 1 piece;
- baking powder - 5 g;
- kefir - 190 ml;
- garlic - 3 teeth;
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp.
Preparation
Before you cook onion pancakes, peeled onions are crushed with a mixer or by hand. Prepare a thick dough, like usual sweet pancakes, from a mixture of yogurt with egg, flour and baking powder. Supplement the dough with spices, put the chopped onions and garlic. Fry the dough pieces with the preheated oil until tender. We serve pancakes with hot or chilled with favorite sauce.
