Orange Oil

One of the bright, sunny fruits, which is not only pleasant to taste, but also pleases the eye - an orange. This sweet and sour fruit, growing on the trees of southern countries, is known to the whole world as a source of vitamins and good mood, because it perfectly tones and refreshes, thanks to its unique taste.

However, the oil that is obtained from this fruit with the help of pressing without heating, is no less useful than the fruit itself.

Orange oil is actively used in cosmetology: for sure, the most popular is the method that eliminates cellulite (based on orange oil), but this use of the substance is not limited.

With the help of orange oil, improve the condition of the hair, face and body skin, and also arrange spa treatments that have a beneficial effect on the emotional state.

The properties of orange oil

There are two types of orange oil: a sweet and bitter option. Their properties are the same, the difference is only in the fragrance, which is important for making perfume.

Before using oil, you need to understand its properties: they are, of course, numerous, but this is not a universal product, and most likely, it does not suit everyone.

Among the properties of orange oil, we can distinguish the following:

  1. Giving the skin firmness.
  2. Anti-cellulite effect.
  3. Accelerates metabolism, it is considered a good tonic.
  4. Regulates water and fat metabolism.
  5. Discharges toxins from the body.
  6. Has an antioxidant effect on the skin and hair.
  7. Stimulates the regeneration of tissues.
  8. It has a warming effect (it is important for carrying out anti-cellulite procedures).
  9. Promotes a slight bleaching of the skin.

Orange Oil - Application

Given the above properties of the oil, we can say that this tool can be used for the beauty of hair and skin, but before you include it in the care program, you need to make sure that there is no allergy to citrus fruits.

If there is a tendency to allergic reactions, then you need to first try to apply oil to a small area of skin and wait 30 minutes.

Oil of orange for hair

For hair, it is better to use sweet orange oil: its pleasant aroma will persist on the hair long enough.

To make the hair elastic and glossy, use orange oil: for dry hair it is not diluted and applied not only to the tips, but also to the roots. It is enough for 1 hour, that the hair is restored and the effect of oil has proved. After that, the substance is washed off with shampoo: unlike many other oils, the orange is very light, and is therefore washed off for 2-3 foaming.

It is also important that this substance protects hair from ultraviolet radiation, so in summer it is especially important.

Orange oil against cellulite

With this fragrant oil, you can get rid of cellulite by wrapping and taking baths with orange oil.

The recipe for the wrap is simple: take 6 tbsp. l. olive oil, add 1 tsp. orange oil and 1 drop of pepper oil. Pepper will warm, perhaps very much - to a burning sensation, but this is a hot wrap, and therefore this shortcoming needs to be endured. Orange oil helps to keep warm and promotes toning of the skin. After applying the problem areas it is necessary to wrap the food film for 2 hours, after which the oil mixture is washed off.

To take a bath with orange oil, just add 2 tablespoons. of this substance per 10 liters of water.

Orange oil for face

Bitter orange oil is used for the face as a remedy that smoothes wrinkles and whitens the skin a little.

It can be used instead of a night cream, however, the fragrance may not allow the oil to remain on the face for the whole night. In this case, using make-up oil, make-up is removed, applying it to a cotton pad, and then washed off with a washing-up liquid.

This oil can also be added to masks, especially on the basis of clay: so it will be much less to dry the skin, which is appropriate for a fading, wrinkle-prone, dry skin of the face.
