Camphor is a colorless, crystalline substance with a pronounced odor, derived from the etheric camphor oil. The healing properties of crystalline camphor have been known for a long time: for thousands of years the product has been used in medicine and cosmetology. Currently, camphor is part of some medicines used in the therapy of a number of diseases.
Application of crystalline camphor
Camphor belongs to the group of analeptics - agents that excite the respiratory and vasomotor divisions of the brain. When injected, camphor oil:
