Today we will talk with you about a popular medicine called sanorin. This is a modern and very effective drug used in the treatment of ENT diseases in children and adults.
The composition of the drug sanorin
The main active substance of this drug is naphasoline nitrate. Thanks to him, the drug has a pronounced vasoconstrictive effect, significantly reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane and facilitates nasal breathing.
An otolaryngologist can prescribe a drop of sanorin to your child if he diagnoses such diseases as rhinitis (rhinitis), sinusitis (including sinusitis), eustachitis, laryngitis and even conjunctivitis. Do not worry about whether you can drip sanorin for children, because in his annotation indicated that the drug is indicated for use by children from 2 years of age. Therefore, if your child is already two years old, safely use sanorin if a doctor has appointed him.
Sanorin is available in the form of drops in the nose and sprays of 0.1% and 0.05%. Sanorin: side effects

- headache;
- increased blood pressure;
- nausea;
- tachycardia.
Some side effects also develop with prolonged use of the drug, when the body gets used to its action. The fact is that these drops and sprays can not be used for a long time, a maximum of 3 days (for children) or 7 days (for adults). When getting used to sanorin, the mucous membrane of the nose can become swollen and irritated, there are unpleasant sensations, dryness and tingling in the nose. In addition, the very vasoconstrictive effect of drops through a given time interval is markedly reduced (this phenomenon is called tahifilaxia). In this case, you must immediately stop using the drug and, if necessary, resume it no sooner than a few days later, taking a break.
