Tattoo healing

Drawing a picture on the body by means of a tattoo machine is a series of multiple punctures with the introduction of paint. Naturally, there is a trauma to the skin with all the resulting unpleasant symptoms. In order for the healing of the tattoo to proceed correctly and without complications, it is important to strictly follow the advice of the master and use only the drugs recommended by him.

Stages of healing tattoos

Skin regeneration occurs in 3 stages:

  1. Flow of the syphilis. To create a natural protective surface on the epidermis, lymph is released, mixed with a small amount of blood. It prevents infection of wounds.
  2. Formation of crusts. As with normal scratches, skin damage after the tattoo is covered with a dense crust for safe cell repair.
  3. Peeling. At the final stage, the final regeneration of the skin takes place, the dead layers of the epidermis are removed.

How to treat and how to smear a tattoo for a quick healing?

Immediately after the pattern is filled, the master in the tattoo salon applies an antiseptic cream to the damaged areas of the skin and covers the treated areas with a special diaper or napkin. As the top protective layer for the healing of tattoos, film, food or cosmetic is used. It is designed to isolate the skin surface from contact with oxygen, which means - formation of thick crusts, penetration of microbes. With this bandage, you need to walk about 3-4 hours, after which perform the following actions:

  1. Rinse the tattoo in warm water with mild soap. Do not rub.
  2. Blot clean skin with a paper towel.
  3. Gently rub a special ointment (Tattoo Goo, Doctor PRO, Tat Wax, Ink Fixx) into the entire damaged surface. If such a facility is not available, you can replace it with any cream with panthenol.
  4. Apply a fresh bandage.

These procedures should be repeated 3-5 times a day, always before bedtime, for 3-12 days (depending on the size of the pattern and the speed of skin regeneration ).

It is worth noting that tattoos can be smeared either with specialized drugs or with drugs with panthenol . Other similar products can discolour the skin and absorb the paint, which will require correction of the tattoo after healing.
