Tea house with own hands

Many housewives in the kitchen have settled charming houses for tea bags, which pleases the eye. In this article I will introduce you how to make a tea house with your own hands in the technique of decoupage with a protruding figure. This is very exciting and not very difficult.

Required:

• dense cardboard or fiberboard;
• acrylic relief fine paste;
• palette knife (knife for oil painting);
• acrylic colors - white, red, cadmium yellow and red, ultramarine, chromium oxide, umbra, burnt;
• Decoupage paper with architectural elements - doors, windows, balconies, etc .;
• matt varnish spray;
• acrylic matt lacquer;
• 3-D gel;
• stencil "shingles";
• adhesive for decoupage, PVA.

Making a tea house billet

1. On the pattern we cut out the details of the tea house from the cardboard.
2. We cut from a thin cardboard four strips 20х3 sm and three strips 9х3 sm, we bend them in half. Long strips, glue the wall parts together and tightly press.
3. We glue the bottom of the house using three short strips, so that it protrudes from under the walls.
4. From a detail measuring 10x6 cm, we bend the triangle and fix it with a thin cardboard, we stick on it the main parts of the roof. Just prepare the lower part of the roof.
5. Glue the bottom and sides of the roof.
6. It turned out the preparation of the tea house.

Decoupage of the tea house: in stages

1. We ground the workpiece with white paint.
2. From paper for decoupage gently tear out the details for the house with a margin of about 1.5 cm.
3. We glue the centers of architectural fragments of the house and flower pots, leaving the edges unattached.
4. Under all non-glued edges of the drawings we apply a palette knife with a relief paste and attach the desired shape, we glue the edges of the pictures on top. We obtain the volume elements.
5. The glued parts are covered with a matte spray varnish.
6. On walls where it is necessary to form a toothpick from the paste brickwork.
7. On the roof from two sides through the stencil we put the paste, the shingles are obtained.
8. Gently paint the walls and brickwork of the house. We paint the antennae and leaves of the grapes.
9. We plan and draw the elements that we want to add: a lantern, cracks on the plaster, a masonry at the base of the house.
10. We paint the tile on the roof with red paint.
11. We add details: darken the umber roof, add greenery to the cobblestones, a few bright highlights, 3-D gel "glaze" the windows and the lantern.
12. All is covered with acrylic matt varnish in two layers. The house is ready!

The resulting beautiful and original tea house will decorate any tea drinking. And in the technique of decoupage, you can issue other items: a housekeeper , a clock or a casket .
