Travmatin is considered a relatively new medicine, which has managed to prove itself well both in veterinarians and in dog breeders. This drug is used to treat injuries and inflammatory diseases to which many active animals are susceptible. The main indications for the use of Travmatina are:
- fractures of limbs;
- bruises and dislocations;
- anesthesia of the generic process;
- concussion of the brain.
In addition, it can be used in certain inflammatory processes (phlegmon, abscess, periodontitis, etc.). Veterinarians recommend the use of the drug in case of genital rupture during labor, and also in septic processes in animals.
Quite often the drug is used in the postoperative period: due to stimulation of regenerating processes, it accelerates the time of emergence after anesthesia, reduces the toxic load on the weakened organism of the animal, prevents complications (intestinal paresis, inflammation, bleeding), stimulates tissue repair.

Travmatin is a homeopathic remedy of complex action. The main active substances in it are:
- calendula (helps regenerate tissues, accelerates the healing of burn wounds);
- echinacea (increases immunity, has bacteriostatic effect, accelerates blood clotting);
- arnica (gives a tonus to the walls of blood vessels, used to treat diseases of the venous and arterial systems);
- belladonna (neurogenic, antispasmodic and analgesic effect);
- St. John's wort (a regenerating agent that helps with the defeat of the nervous system);
- ASD-2 (increases the resistance of the body, increases the immunity of tissues).
The drug is available in the form of a clear solution, packaged in bottles of 100 and 10 ml. Due to the high demand, Travmatin for dogs began to be produced in the form of a gel in plastic bottles, so it became even easier to use the medicine. Its composition is completely safe for animals, it does not cause irritation in contact with the skin. Homeopathic components are contained in ultra-small proportions, so do not accumulate in the dog's body.
Dosage
The following dosage is indicated in the instructions for use of Travmatin for dogs:
- Large and medium breeds - from two to four milliliters of the drug;
- small breeds and puppies - 0.5-2 milliliters.
Within 24 hours, you can do not more than two injections. It depends on the severity of the injury or the strength of the inflammation. Duration of treatment is from 5 to 10 days. If Travmatin is used to facilitate labor in a dog, then it is administered at the beginning of the birth process.
