Ujung-Coulomb


In the western part of the island of Java , in the province of Banten is the National Park Ujung-Coulomb. It includes the volcanic group Krakatau , the islands of Panayitan, as well as some small islands in the Sound of the Sound.   4. Flora of the park. Here grow more than 57 species of rare plants: bean and myrtle trees, a large number of endemic species of orchids, etc. Most of the park is covered with multi-tiered virgin rainforests, marshes and mango thickets.

How to get to the place?

The most affordable and cheapest option is to get to the Ujung-Kulon National Park by bus. It leaves in West Jakarta from the terminal Kalideres, and you need to get there before Labuan, after spending about 3 hours on the road. From there, on this same mode of transport, follow up to Taman Jaya - the nearest settlement before entering the park. But remember, the bus departs from Labuan only once a day, around noon.
