But it's not worth hurrying with this, because a chicken egg is also the strongest allergen. The body of a baby under six months does not need additional sources of vitamins and minerals, because he gets everything from mother's milk or an adapted mixture.

But after the introduction of complementary milk in the diet, the child gradually becomes smaller, it is replaced by vegetables, fruits and cereals.

Therefore 6-7 months is the time for the first acquaintance of the baby with a new product. However, if the family members were allergic to eggs, then the child with a high probability of it may occur. In this case, it will be advisable to postpone the introduction of the egg into the baby's diet for up to eight months, or even better, up to a year. Since the allergy is mainly on egg white, then it should be discarded, and give only the yolk and only in cooked form. Put the omelettes on later.

So with the egg: for the first time we give a little bit and look at the reaction. If the cheeks are not red, there is no rash, there is no stomach upset, which means the product is well absorbed by the body. But for several more days we continue to give the minimum portion.

Then gradually for two weeks the amount of yolk is increased to ¼ of the portion. This volume is quite sufficient for up to a year. And from one year to two we give already half eggs and carefully try to inject protein.

About how many eggs you can eat a child a day, there are many opinions, but the only correct thing is that approved by doctors - for a baby ¼ of a 2 times a week, and for children older than 3 times a week, but already at ½.

How much to cook eggs for the baby?

Do not boil the egg for too long - it will darken and get an unpleasant smell of hydrogen sulfide. The optimal cooking time is 8-10 minutes. After cooking, we separate the yolk necessary to us and grind it with either milk or vegetable purée and soup. Do not give the child directly yolk, with nothing mixed: his taste and consistency may not like the baby.

Do not give raw eggs to children, because germs can easily penetrate through the porous shell, and the egg can cause contamination with salmonella. In addition, the raw egg contains the adivin protein, which harms digestion, and when it is cooked, it breaks down.
