A crust on the child's head is 3 months old

Almost every mother, sooner or later, faces the problem of the appearance of a crust on the head of a child, and most often it happens on 2-3 months of the baby's life. Although this condition is not a pathology, it is necessary to fight it, because in addition to the unaesthetic kind of milk crusts cause skin irritation.

Why does the child have a crust on his head?

The appearance of seborrhea or gneiss (crusts) depends on the poorly coordinated work of the sebaceous and sweat glands. The natural fatty grease in the baby in 2-3 months is allocated with excess and crusts on the head - a visual proof of that.

In addition, imperfect thermoregulation introduces its own corrections - the baby often sweats, and the mother, who is afraid of hypothermia, even more wraps him up, exacerbating the problem. If you do not heal these crusts, then they can go from the scalp to the eyebrows and even to the area near the ears.

How to remove crusts on the head of a child?

To combat child seborrhea aggressive methods are not suitable, because the skin of babies is very tender and it is easy to injure. Therefore, all possible scallops can be applied very carefully and only on previously softened skin.

Before bathing, 30 minutes before it, the child needs to lubricate the head with a special baby oil, or even better with a special remedy for crusts. When they are already well soften, you can start water procedures.

After the bathing is completed, it is not difficult to comb the crust on the child's head. But if some areas are difficult to handle, leave them until the next time.

How to minimize trouble?

The first thing that every mother should remember is the best way to fight dairy crusts is to prevent their appearance. For this child, in no case can it be overheated - it is harmful to the general condition of the body. Indoors, the baby does not need bonnets, except after bathing and if the room is really cold (below 19 ° C).

Regular bathing with a head wash should not be fanatical, that is, even children's shampoo should be used not more than once a week. Also, follow the reaction of the baby to the detergent - if the crusts are aggravated, then it is not suitable for it, and an allergic reaction causes an increase in the number of crusts.

Do not forget about regular combing hair with a brush with natural bristles. And even if there is nothing to comb, this procedure well stimulates hair follicles and massages the skin, speeding up its regeneration.
