Bagels with apples

Bagels with puff pastry apples

Ready puff pastry for a while before the preparation is taken from the freezer and let it completely defrost. As a rule, in packing two rectangular strata, we need to roll them to a square and cut out a circle, which is then divided into eight equal triangular sectors.

The apples are washed from the skin and the core with seeds and cut into large enough lobules. Each of them is laid on a wide part of the triangle from the dough, tasting to taste with brown sugar and cinnamon and folding with rolls to get a bagel. We place products on a baking tray or in a baking dish, on the bottom of which we pour the juice, so that it covers it by about a half millimeter.

Melt the butter, mix it with granulated sugar and generously blend the resulting mixture with the top of the bagels.

Determine the dish in a preheated to 200 degrees oven for twenty-five minutes or until browning.

Finished juicy bagels a little cool and serve to the table.

Cottage cheese rolls with apples

The washed and peeled apples are shredded in cubes and let in with sugar and a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan or in a sauté pan until soft. In the end, add starch, mix, stand on the fire for a minute and cool. The filling of apples for cottage cheese bagels is ready.

Now the grated cottage cheese is mixed well with soft butter, salt, baking powder and brown sugar. We pour the sifted wheat flour and knead it until an elastic, non-sticky dough is obtained. The amount of flour can vary more or less depending on the moisture content of the cottage cheese.

The resulting dough is divided into two parts, each of which is rolled into a round layer, approximately three to five millimeters in thickness, and divides it into eight or sixteen sectors, depending on the size of the bagels you want to receive. For each triangle, we put a little apple stuffing and roll it into roll bagel.

Place the products on a parchment covered with a baking sheet and cook in a preheated oven for up to 185 degrees for twenty minutes or until red.

When ready, sprinkle the bagels with powdered sugar and serve it to the table.
