Box shaped like a heart
You will need:
- white cardboard;
- thin white cardboard;
- paper strip with ornament;
- bright cotton fabric with a small pattern (flower, peas, geometric pattern);
- scissors;
- graphite pencil;
- universal adhesive;
- adhesive for fabric;
- brush.
How to make a box-heart?
- Draw on the template two heart-shaped details on a thicker cardboard, cut them out. At the same time, one piece should be 1 - 2 mm longer on the entire perimeter. This will be the bottom and the cover of the box. Circle the side of the heart, add 2.5 cm, and 2 cm on each side to the hem. Such details we need four pieces to make the side parts of the box and cover. In the bend, make slits in order to make it easier to give the desired shape to the product.
- Gently glue the side part folds to the cover of the box. Then glue the second side piece. Similarly, glue the main part of the box.
- Glue the strip with the ornament on the side of the box.
- Circle the heart pattern on the fabric, two pieces of material are needed. The part intended for gluing the lid should be 1 - 2 mm longer along the entire perimeter. Cut out the details in the form of a heart on the sewing machine. One piece of cloth is glued on the lid of the box.
- Glue the second piece of cloth inside to the bottom of the box. Fold and glue the inside of the side of the hem. This is necessary to make the product complete and strengthen the side parts.
