Unlike mechanical, chemical peeling in the salon or at home dissolves dead cells without causing damage to the skin and leaving no burns.
Popular types of chemical peelings:
- Of fruit acids.
- Salicylic.
- Retinoe.
- Glycolic.
- Enzyme (enzymatic).
Acid
There are two proven ways to do chemical peeling of the face of the house with the help of acids:
- Buy peeling in a beauty salon or pharmacy. In this case, you need to follow the instructions of the purchased product. After the procedure, apply a moisturizing or soothing cream to the treated areas.
- Prepare a homemade acidic chemical peel. For this you need:
- make a puree of the available fruits and citrus;
- apply it evenly to the face;
- hold 15 minutes and remove the mass;
- wash with cool water;
- apply a nourishing cream.
Fruit acid peeling at home very gently affects the skin, but it is effective enough. It allows not only to clean it of unnecessary cells and pollution, but also to saturate with useful substances and vitamins.
Salicylic
A more intense acid peeling at home for smoothing the skin's relief and narrowing the pores is based on the use of salicylic acid. It can be purchased at a pharmacy or replaced with several aspirin tablets (acetylsalicylic acid).
Make salicylic exfoliation simply:
- mix acid powder (or chopped aspirin tablets) with honey, the consistency should be soft, with fine abrasive particles;
- rub the gruel with cautious circular movements on the massage lines for 3 minutes;
- wash with cool water and moisturize the skin with cream.
Retinoic
Retinoids, in addition to improving the texture of the skin and its relief, can get rid of unwanted pigmentation and slow the aging process. Retinoic chemical peels for home use can be bought, and you can make yourself:
- retinoic ointment or any other drug with local retinoids (diferin, deriviva) gently rub into clean and dry skin;
- after rubbing, apply a lot of ointment on the skin and evenly distribute it with a thick layer;
- to withstand peeling 30 minutes;
- wash with warm water and apply a nourishing cream with a light texture.
After this peeling, the skin may be irritated and flaky for a while, but after 2-3 days its condition will noticeably improve.
Glycolic
To perform this procedure, peeling will have to be bought. The product is applied to clean skin and left to act for no more than 10 minutes. Glycolic peeling should then be carefully washed off, it is possible with a cotton sponge or a soft sponge. For several days after peeling, it is possible to feel the tightness of the skin, so it should be regularly moistened.
Enzyme or Enzymic
Peeling enzymes is the most sparing and affects only the upper layers of the skin. Usually it is not used as an independent medical procedure, but is included in the complex of measures as prevention of the appearance of scars and pigment spots. Enzyme peeling is used in the finished version, which must be purchased at a pharmacy or a cosmetologist. The solution is applied to the skin and aged for 30 minutes. Then, thoroughly peel off the peeling with water at room temperature and moisten the skin.
