English Shepherd Dog

English Shepherd refers to service breeds. It was bred by farmers from the United States, who tried to improve the basic characteristics of existing breeds of sheep dogs. To do this, farmers crossed the breeds imported from the British islands, with the shepherd dogs of Rome, which appeared in America during the time of the invader Sizar. These dogs were used by Catholics to graze livestock, which the troops needed as provisions. Exhausted Roman dogs were driven out of the pack, and local residents gave them shelter. As a result of crossing these dogs with old English breeds of dogs, an English shepherd appeared. Later, the old English sheepdog with the first settlers was in America. The multipurpose breed was highly appreciated, and in 1934 it was recognized in the UKC.
