Feeding the baby in 9 months

Feeding the baby - a purely individual thing, therefore, studying this question, you can confidently say: "How many people, so many opinions!". Some, in the old manner, from the age of 3 months give the baby apple juice. Others are categorical in their judgments and adhere strictly to the WHO recommendations on the need to maintain natural feeding and complementary feeding no earlier than 6 months, yet others say that it is necessary to introduce the crumb with new food only when the first tooth appears, while the fourth ones act under the dictation of their maternal intuition . The same controversial situation develops with the order of introducing new products into the baby's diet, and, we assure you, every mother has her own.

Where are you, the golden mean?

Having studied a lot of opinions about what should be the feeding of the child in 9 months, we tried to "average" the results. And that's what we got:

  1. The child's feeding regimen in 9-10 months should be already formed, and the interval between meals should average 4 hours.
  • Rubbed meat can be replaced with meatballs, and then with steam cutlets. You can alternate meat products with fish, which can already be safely introduced into the baby's diet during this period. Cooking fish should be very carefully, in any case not to miss the bones. It is preferable to choose a calcium-rich river pike perch.
  • It's time to introduce the baby to wheat bread, to start giving that you need from 5. It should be noted that in the first year of life he should be exceptionally white. Alternatively bread can be an infant soluble biscuit, the daily norm of which can be gradually increased to 15 g.
  • When feeding a child in 8 months, you can begin to gradually accustom it to chewing. To do this, vegetable mashed potatoes should not be beaten with a blender for lunch, but it is enough to mash it with a fork. In the event that the baby has not yet got teeth, it is not worth worrying, since he will try to chew food with "itchy" gums, while enjoying it.
  • 9 months is an excellent age for teaching the child independence, so you can safely give him a spoon in the handle, attaching to the process of feeding, and replace the bottle with a drink for a comfortable cup-non-spill.
