The struggle with weeds in the garden in a modern way

Proper care for cultivated plants involves providing them with a sufficient number of nutrients. But how often the lion's share of these "utilities" is taken away by weeds, which, moreover, clog useful plants. Therefore, the fight against harmful grass is simply necessary. And in order not to kill your time for permanent manual weeding, you can use special drugs to control weeds.

Chemical means of weed control

Weeds that kill cultural plants and carry all sorts of diseases and pests require destruction, in this case - chemical. We need to act with herbicides - special substances that kill weeds and their roots, permanently rid the site of their invasion.

At the same time pesticides are safe for vegetables and berries, and also do not harm people and pets. As a result, it turns out that this method of combating weeds in the garden is modern and fast and effective, and it takes a lot of time and energy.

The most common among other drugs are "Tornado", "Lazurite" and "Roundal". They guarantee the safe use and effective control of weeds without harm to cultivated plants.

It is recommended to use herbicides on an unsown area, where only planting of potatoes or other plants is planned. You need to treat the site with weeds, dig it up and then you can start planting seedlings or sowing seeds. Thus, you will greatly facilitate your work in the garden and do no harm to the environment.

These methods are especially good at combating resistant weeds, such as sow, dandelions and so on. But for greater efficiency, the treatment must be done in dry and sunny weather. Also, make sure that no rain or fog is anticipated in the next 6 hours.

When spraying, try not to get on the crop plants, because the pesticides can ruin the crop. In the case of close proximity of weeds and cultivated plants, it is recommended to use a guiding cover or to lubricate the weeds with a brush. On undeveloped same sites, the use of herbicides is not limited to anything.

Weed control without chemicals

There are many ways to combat weeds that exclude the use of chemistry. For example, mulching of soil is very effective against weeds. You need to first free the beds from the weeds, and then fill the rows with straw , needles, husks or sawdust, depending on the type of crop plant (as is known, different cultures prefer different types of mulch).

Fill mulch all the free space around the plant with a layer of 7 cm. This will prevent the growth of weeds and keep the moisture in the soil. That is, in this way you immediately solve two problems - the control of weeds and regular watering. Weeds simply can not grow under such a layer, and the number of irrigation will noticeably decrease.

In addition to mulch, a dense non-woven fabric can be used that passes air and moisture to the plants, but does not allow sunlight to pass through. Weeds under it will not grow, and cultural plants will be protected from drying out, overheating and overcooling.

And one more modern way to combat weeds is the use of a thick black film. It can be laid on beds where tomatoes, zucchini, greens grow. In the right places on the film, cuts are made for the growth of cultivated plants. Like a non-woven material, the film prevents the growth of weeds, preserving the moisture and temperature necessary for the normal growth and development of cultivated plants.
