First birth

It is believed that the first birth is most difficult. In fact, both the course of pregnancy and labor are related to the health and age of the woman.

The difference between the first genera and the second

Nevertheless, there are several characteristic differences that are observed between the first and second genera. First of all, this is the psychological state of a woman. Not knowing what she is going through, the firstborn is constantly in an anxious state, which can be amplified by the time of the birth of the child and because of the feeling of fear, the behavior of the parturient woman may not be entirely correct. She finds it difficult to find a pose in which the sensations will be much easier, it is difficult to follow the recommendations for proper breathing and attempts.

The first precursors of childbirth, quite often, take her by surprise. Therefore, the home needs to take care of preparing everything necessary and to help the woman in labor to gain confidence. Especially useful for this will be the courses of expectant mothers, which are conducted by qualified gynecologists and midwives.

There is also a physiological difference between the first and second births - a significant duration of the first birth. The nulliparous woman has narrower and poorly extensible birthmarks. Therefore, the first period of labor, stretching and smoothing of the cervix, can last 10-12 hours. After birth, the cervix and the vaginal walls remain slightly stretched. As a result, with repeated pregnancy, the first stage of labor lasts only 5 to 8 hours.

First birth in 30 years

It is not uncommon for the first birth in 30 years, when a woman feels well-founded and financially secure. According to statistics, every 12 women in Russia give birth to their first child, having crossed the thirty-year boundary. Although doctors have long warned that the ideal age for the first birth is 20-30 years. Late deliveries, unfortunately, sometimes lead to rather serious complications.

The first birth in 35-40 years significantly increases the risk of birth of an infant with congenital pathologies. These include violations of the functions of the gastrointestinal tract, heart defects, genetic diseases such as Down's disease. True, great importance is played in this late age of the child's father. Approximately one-third of cases of birth of children with Down's syndrome are caused by pathologies of male chromosomes.

Pathologies in the development of the fetus are found in young and perfectly healthy women. Simply, the body reveals a sick embryo and, most often, rejects it. The first birth after 35-40 years provokes the occurrence of spontaneous mutations. And tired of all the years spent female body, begins to malfunction and the mechanism of rejection does not always work.

Of course, do not despair. Any woman has the right to experience the joy of motherhood, no matter how many years it is not fulfilled. Especially since it is possible to avoid the birth of a child with genetic diseases if a set of preventive measures is taken about three months before the planned conception.

Often, a woman's late pregnancy leads to an exacerbation of chronic or the development of concomitant diseases. It is to prevent complications that a pregnant woman is advised not to neglect medical examinations from a therapist, dentist, neurologist, ophthalmologist and other narrow specialists. Treatment of chronic diseases, also, it is advisable to begin three months before the conception of the baby.

Thus, the competent planning of the forthcoming pregnancy will allow to conceive a healthy child and the first birth, even at 20 years old, at least 30, will bring only joy to a woman.
