Preparation

First we prepare the dough. We dissolve the yeast in slightly warmed milk, then add the egg (1-2 pcs.) And a pinch of salt to the resulting mixture. Gradually adding sifted flour, kneading the dough, carefully knead it (only not very long mesim). Divide the dough into 2 approximately equal parts. Each of the parts separately roll out not too thinly and smear abundantly softened butter . We will curl layers in rolls, rolls in turn densely we will curtail a cochlea (a spiral). We wrap both vertuits with food film and put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Now prepare the cream. In a small scoop we will wipe the raw egg with sugar and vanilla, add starch and slightly warmed milk. We put the ladle on a minimum fire, and better - on a water bath and we will stir it continuously. The cream should be slightly thickened and vigorously shaken, you can mixer. Then the cream should be cooled, often stirring.

Each of the cooled vertically is rolled into the formation. On a baking sheet covered with oiled paper lay out one of the layers of dough, copiously cover it with cream, we put the second rolled out layer from above, connect and tightly tie the edges.

We bake the fytyr for about 35-40 minutes in a well-heated oven. Finished fytyr neatly put on a dish and lightly cool. You can smear the surface of the fytyr with the remaining cream and sprinkle with powdered sugar (however, this is not necessary). Egyptian fytir is served with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, karkade or roybus. Or you can serve sour-milk drinks.

As you probably already understand, fytyr is a simplified alternative to the cake "Napoleon", it turns out delicious, and it's much less fussing.
