Season skiing in Himos, opens in the first days of November and lasts until mid-April, but in the summer it will be interesting, as in August, there are motor racing "Rally Thousand Lakes". In addition to skiing, other activities are organized here: snowmobile trips, reindeer and dog sledging, ice cold bites and winter swimming. From Himos, just go to Tampere and Jyväskylä, where you can visit the water park and do shopping.
In Himos there is almost everything for a good family vacation. Children under the age of 7 can use the ski runs and ski lifts for free. Russian-speaking tourists, which in Himos is quite a lot, the resort administration provides guides for tourists with the necessary information in Russian.
Be sure to know that the slopes on the slopes of West Himos are working in odd weeks, and the North - in even. Completely ski resort operates only on weekends, holidays and during holidays in Finnish schools (from February 21 to March 6). For convenience of movement between the slopes and on the territory of the resort, there is a free bus every half an hour.

- for children 7-12 years: 1 day - 23 euros, 5 days - 65 euros, a week - 110 euros;
- for beginners - 4 free descent.

The resort is constantly developing, improving. By 2015, it is planned that 34 tracks will be already equipped and five new lifts open.
