Step 2 - remove the coil from the trimmer

- for small trim tabs with the bottom location of the engine, press the keys located on the sides of the coil and remove the top of the head from the head;
- on the trim tabs with the curved rod we clamp the coil body with one hand while simultaneously turning the lamb located on the body counterclockwise;
- for trim tabs with a straight bar and gearbox, insert a screwdriver into the hole under the coil, and then turn the body of the coil counterclockwise.
Step 3 - dismantle the coil
After the coil is removed from the head, it must be carefully disassembled. Do it better on the already ruffled site, since there can be a spring inside the coil, which will be difficult to find in high grass. After the disassembly, we will have three parts in our hands: the body (top cover), the protective cover and the coil itself.
Step 4 - measure the necessary amount of fishing line
