It should be noted that the place for long-term storage of boxes with shoes should be chosen such that there is no access to moisture and sunlight.
How to store shoes correctly?
Knowing how to store leather shoes, you can significantly extend its "life" and avoid damage to the appearance. Preliminary preparation is very important - the pairs put aside for storage will need to be thoroughly washed and dried. Then the shoes are treated with cream and disinfected. For disinfection, a special product sold in hardware stores can be used, and the people's way recognizes the placement of tampons in the acetic essence inside the shoes. Such a pair is put in a plastic bag, which is tightly tied and stands for 12 hours, until the essence acts. Then the treated steam is removed, ventilated and put into a box.
Before storing suede shoes, its sole should be washed, and the suede should be cleaned with a special brush. As a treatment, a spray for suede is used, disinfection is carried out as described above.
To ensure that your shoes do not lose shape during long-term storage, enough to fill it with old newspapers, and only then to clean up in boxes.
