Pages of History

It is interesting that for the first time the World motorcycle day was celebrated not on June 20, but on July 22 in 1992. On this day in different countries of the world, motorcycle lovers decided to leave their cars at home, and to work on motorcycles. The action was successful and every year the idea only gained momentum and scale. And five years later a special website was founded, which united motorists all over the world. By the way, it is thanks to the site that like-minded people organized similar holidays year after year, since at the official level this day was not recognized. And only in 2000 was founded non-profit organization to support motorcyclists in different countries of the world, which managed to achieve the international status of the celebration.

So when is Motorcyclist Day celebrated? The fact is that every year the holiday was celebrated on the third Wednesday of July, but in 2008 it was decided to postpone the celebration on the third Monday of June. Such changes are associated with more suitable weather conditions.

But, as before, the slogan "To work - on a motorcycle" does not lose its relevance.
