The bottom and banks are sandy, sometimes overgrown with reeds and cattail.

Legend of Lake Kishezers

Lake Kishezers has its own legend, which is as follows. In the 30-ies of the XX century, during a wedding walk on this lake, a tragedy happened. During the photo session, and the devices of those times were not distinguished by mobility and speed, the bride climbed the wooden stage, which were installed in the zoo area. The photographer set up his camera very long, and the veil, which had fallen into the water, was very wet, absorbing water. A heavy veil dragged the bride to the bottom, eyewitnesses could not save the girl.

Mystical fact is that a few hours before the incident, the mother of the bride said: "A gypsy woman guessed that my daughter will marry the king of the sea, and we are here for a good guy she was given out of the working family."
