Museum collection
In the chic collection of the Museum of Gold in San Jose collected about 2 thousand types of jewelry and more than 20 statues of ceramics. It has items that are more than 500 years old. Among them there are manual works of Indians, royal artisans, but in general they all belong to the pre-Columbian period.
Inside the museum is divided into several halls. In one there were magnificent sculptures of 10-15 centuries, in the second - jewels, in the third - ceramics of 8-10 centuries. In total, there are 9 rooms in the museum and all of them are thematically divided. The most important exhibit in this luxurious collection was a gold statue of a warrior, which is made in full size. Also in the museum you can see gold shields, graceful bird figures, hairpins and massive necklaces with precious stones.
The second floor of the building shows a collection of different eras. In the rooms are assembled in the ranks of a line of coins and gold products, which show how the precious metal had on the development of the inhabitants and their skills.
