How to cook a classic royal cake at home - recipe

Preparation of the royal cake begins with the beating of eggs. To do this, combine them with sugar in a convenient container and treat it with a mixer until a brightened foamy mass forms and all the sugar crystals are dissolved. Next, add sour cream, a little more punched mixer and sprinkled in advance sifted flour. Gently knead the dough to a homogeneous and smooth texture without any admixture of lumps. The next step is to divide the cooked dough into three equal portions. In one of them we add washed thoroughly and steamed for ten minutes in boiling water raisins, in the second poppy, and in the third prune. The latter before this cut into strips or arbitrary small slices.

Now alternately from each dough bake cakes, laying it for this in a parchment covered with oily paraffin and an oiled container for baking, and placing in an oven heated to 170 degrees for twenty-five minutes.

On readiness we let the cakes cool. During this time, we prepare the cream for the royal cake. To do this, punch a little mixer with a soft butter, add the condensed boiled milk and whisk again. For additional flavoring qualities, you can add a couple of tablespoons of cognac or brandy to the cream.

We smear the cakes with cooked cream, while filling with its slices of kiwi, banana and orange. We also decorate the cake with fruit and we have it for several hours in the fridge for impregnation.

How to bake a royal cake - a recipe for cooking in mayonnaise

The process of preparing this royal cake is very similar to the previous version. The dough is prepared similarly, with the difference that instead of sour cream we will use mayonnaise, which is mixed with whipped eggs with sugar, and then mix the flour and baking powder. Then, in exactly the same way, divide the received mass into three portions. Add to one - raisins, in the other - poppies, and in the third fried walnuts and grinded not too finely.

In this case, for baking cakes in an oiled form, set the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees and we stand them for twenty-five minutes each.

As the basis of the cream for the royal cake, we will use fatty sour cream. We process it with a mixer, adding sugar in the process of whipping. You can optionally add cream flavor vanilla sugar or vanillin.

Ready cooled cakes alternately smeared cream, complementing it with slices of bananas and stacked on top of each other. We decorate the cake at our discretion. Very appropriate in this case will be slices of kiwi, orange slices, chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
