Stand for eggs with your own hands

Stand for eggs can serve as a decoration for the Easter table. But on weekdays, adaptation is useful for those who prefer to eat soft-boiled eggs. We offer three options, how to make stand for eggs with your own hands. In all three cases, the most simple materials will be needed for the production of eggs for their own support.

How to make a stand for an egg?

First option

For the manufacture of the stand-nest you will need unbleached cardboard and an empty roll from under the paper towel.

  1. Circle the pattern circle (you can use a saucer or a dessert plate). Cut it out and, starting from the outer edge, cut it in a spiral to the center. Do not try to make straight lines. On the contrary, unevenness will make the "nest" look prettier!
  2. Cut off with a clerical knife part of the ring from the cylindrical basis of a paper towel. We fix with the help of universal glue the end of the resulting spiral on the ring. Loosely wrap the spiral around the ring until it is finished. We cut off a few thin scraps from the spiral and, wrapping them around a pen or pencil, form a kind of serpentine.
  3. We glue the end of the spiral, so that the nest does not fall apart, and we insert the "serpentines". That's such a cozy nest for a chicken egg we got!

The second option

To produce another egg stand for Easter, green cardboard of two types is required: smooth and textured. Cut a strip 4 cm wide from the smooth cardboard, the second strip of texture cardboard is approximately 1 cm already, but 1 cm longer. On one of the long sides of each strip we perform cutting in the form of grass. If the stand is designed to decorate a festive table, we decorate the narrow strips with the names of invited children. Each of the strips is glued in a ring with a universal adhesive. In the narrow ring insert a wide, into it we place the Easter egg.

The third option

We will need green cardboard, as well as a cardboard of two pastel tones.

From the green cardboard we cut out a strip 4 cm wide, forming a ring, gluing the edges together. On the template, we make oval petals smaller than one color and petals of a slightly different color. Gently glue in the beginning large petals, forming a flower, and then small petals.

Stand-flower is ready! Stands for Easter eggs in the form of flowers will add a spring mood to the festive serving.
