Stool with your own hands

How to make a stool with your own hands?

1. First of all, we determine the height of the future stool. In our case, the seat will be located at a height of 38 cm from the floor.
2. When we dismantled the dimensions with the dimensions, we begin to make the stool with our own hands. From the wooden blocks we cut out 4 legs with a length of 38 cm, 4 slats 28 cm long and 4 slats of 45 cm. For this we use a corner (to accurately measure the length of the beams) and a saw. If you have a circular, it's better to use it, then you will save time.
3. All 8 jumpers we will install between the legs in the lower and upper tier of the stool as "connectors". Preliminarily, we take all the parts (except for 4 legs) and in each case on both sides we make two parallel holes located at an angle, in order then to tighten the screws in them. To do this, we use a special attachment to the drill, in the absence of such it is possible to turn to the joiner.
4. The next step in making a stool with your own hands is assembling the frame. Fold all the parts of our stool, jumpers clamp legs in the lower and upper tier, insert the holes in the screw holes and using a screwdriver we connect all the parts together. Since each jumper is attached with four screws, the stool at us will turn out strong and reliable.
5. In the production of our stool with his own hands begins the creative stage - painting. We take paint or stain for wood, with the help of a brush ennoble the resulting frame and leave to dry.
6. Next, using scissors, cut the skin into identical belts (2 x 38 cm).
7. Now the most crucial moment in our master class is "How to make a stool with your own hands" -binding the seat. "Tighten" the straps of the top of the stool, bend them under the frame on both sides and fix them with nails (at the rate of 2 cloves on each side). Perpendicular to this row, in the same way, we fasten one more row of straps to the back of the stool with nails.
8. Next, we carry each strap through a belt perpendicular to it, first with a belt, then under another belt. Thus, the chess pattern of the weave is obtained. When we reach the edge, each strap is bent and nailed to the back of the stool.
9. We check whether we reliably attached the straps to the frame. After making sure that the seat turned out to be reliable, we can safely put our stool, made with our own hands, into the room.
