First aid with intense pneumothorax
Given that the described pathology often ends in a fatal outcome and requires qualified medical intervention, you should immediately call an "ambulance" and call a team of specialists.

Emergency care for a strained pneumothorax:
- Find a wide needle or any other device, similar to it - in the form of a tube.
- Disinfect the object with an antiseptic, alcohol, alcohol.
- Sharply enter the resulting catheter into that half of the thorax where the lung is damaged. One end of the tube should be externally about half or a third of the total length.
- If the injured person's breathing and pressure in the pleural cavity could not be restored, a tip of fine rubber, for example, an air balloon, a condom, should be immediately put on the outer end of the catheter.
After the arrival of the ambulance brigade, the patient is immediately hospitalized.
Treatment of intense pneumothorax
