Stuffed pepper - recipe

If in our region the recipe of stuffed pepper often includes a mixture of some meat with rice and onions, then in the world of cooking, the variety of recipes for this dish can only be envied. Peppers stuff not only meat, but also cheeses, and also other vegetables. More details about interesting and original variations of this dish will be discussed later.

Bulgarian pepper stuffed with vegetables

In the vegetarian version of the recipe, a mixture of kinoa (or any other cereal you like) with vegetable and bean platter can be a filling for fleshy Bulgarian peppers. These peppers are not cooked on the stove, as we used to do, but are baked in the oven.

Boil the croup of your choice until it is completely ready and let it cool slightly. We preferred cinema. Without wasting time, take up the preparation of vegetables: fry onions, carrots, add to them legumes and season. Mix the vegetables with kinoa and distribute everything on peeled "cups" of sweet pepper. Put the peppers in a dish for baking, pour a mixture of water and sauce, and then cover with foil and send to prepare at 185 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Pepper stuffed with meat

Extinguish the usual peppers in the Italian manner, adding to the selected forcemeat a mixture of Italian herbs, fresh basil and extinguishing everything in homemade tomato sauce.

As a meat component we decided to stay on the most healthy option - beef tenderloin, but you can safely replace it with at least a duck, even pork with fat.

Before preparing the stuffed pepper, cut off the bonnet and remove the core with the seeds. Prepare the meat stuffing from the beef tenderloin. Twist the meat, salt it, add dried Italian herbs, fresh chopped basil, egg and flour for a bunch. Distribute the minced meat over the cavity of the peppers firmly in the selected for extinguishing dishes.

Adhere to the sauce. Quickly fry garlic teeth and pour tomatoes into them in your own juice. Leave fruit to stew until they break up, turning into a sauce. Pour hot peppers sauce and leave them to stew in a low heat for 1 hour.

Pepper stuffed with cheese in the oven - recipe

This stuffed pepper is an ideal option for an original breakfast. Its composition includes an abundance of cheese (or rather, a cut of its two kinds) and an egg. The simplest dish is placed in the oven and cooked for no more than 20 minutes.

Season cream cheese and combine it with chopped onion greens. Divide the peppers in half and fill them with cheese mixture by no more than a third. Sprinkle the cream cheese with a small amount of usual hard cheese, from above, hammer the egg and put in the remaining cheese. Leave the peppers in the oven, heated to 200 degrees. Preparation of stuffed peppers will take no more than 20 minutes, but the time can vary depending on the size of the peppers, the eggs used and the desired degree of egg yolk.

A ready-made dish is served with toast.

As a variety, the cream cheese stuffing can be supplemented not only with herbs, but also with a wide variety of vegetables, without forgetting to save them before mixing with the cheese base.
