Crab salad with corn and cucumber

One of the most popular festive dishes of the post-Soviet space is a salad with crab sticks. At first, among the ingredients were crab sticks, corn, mayonnaise, boiled eggs, and for nourishment - boiled rice or potatoes. Of course, this dish can not be called dietary, so over time, the recipe has been modified and today the Crab salad with corn and cucumber is much more popular. Usually crab sticks are sold frozen - so defrost them and finely cut them. It is important to choose fresh chopsticks, otherwise a dry, crumbling product will spoil the dish. Eggs put in cold salted water, cook for 10 minutes, pour cold water, remove the shell and cut small cubes. We put corn in boiling water, wait 10 minutes, throw it back in a colander and let it drain. Such corn is more useful than pickled. Cucumber and chop finely, shredded dill. All ingredients are placed in a bowl, salt, dressing with sauce and stirring. You can give the salad to stand for half an hour in the fridge. The crab salad with corn and fresh cucumber is also stored in the refrigerator - but no more than 2 days.

There is a modified version. The salad includes Peking cabbage, corn, crab sticks, cucumber. This is also a very light salad, however, it is not recommended in large quantities to those who have problems with the pancreas. But there is a way out: you can simply reduce the amount of cabbage by half.

Corn is boiled in boiling water for 7-10 minutes, thrown back on a sieve and allowed to drain well. Defrost crab meat and cut into cubes. Boiled eggs, too, cut into cubes (in the post you can prepare a salad without eggs, and fill with vegetable oil). Cabbage and cucumbers shinkuyu thin straws about the same size. Finely chop dill.
