Signs of catnip
First of all, do not self-medicate at all! When any signs of a plague come up, contact your doctor as soon as possible! There are three forms of the disease:
- super- fast (lightning fast). Most of all, kittens and individuals are exposed to a year. With this form, alas, a very high percentage of deaths. The most characteristic signs of a plague in kittens are convulsions , trembling of limbs and the entire body, sometimes paralysis, fear of noise, foamy vomiting, diarrhea, refusal to eat and drink. The process can sometimes take place so quickly that the animal dies within a few hours even without showing any signs;
- acute , characteristic for adult animals. The first signs of a plague in a cat with this form - refusal to eat, apathy, there is a rapid increase in respiration and a sharp increase in temperature. In a day, two people vomit, fetid diarrhea. And the most characteristic sign of the plague in cats in this form of the disease is the rejection of water against a clearly expressed thirst, when the animal, hunched from acute pain in the abdomen, sits near a bowl of water, but does not drink. Often on the abdomen appears pustular rash;
- the subacute form of the disease manifests itself in adult animals with good immunity or in vaccinated individuals and is characterized by the same symptoms as in the acute form, but not so pronounced.
In any case, contact a doctor who, on the basis of blood tests, urine, feces, will make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate course of treatment.
For a person, panleukopenia is not dangerous!
